Drugstore Beauty Buy: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss

I love a good gloss and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss is one of my new absolute favorites. Not only it is affordable, which I desperately need after the holiday season but it is AMAZING! This had been on my wish list for a while and I had to get my cart over the limit to get free shipping so my hand was forced to buy it.

I purchased the gloss in Pink Pursuit. Upon it’s arrival, I was thinking I’m not sure if I’m going to like this. It wasn’t as pink as I was expecting, but I was going to give it a shot. I first noticed that I loved the texture. It’s thick and moisturizing but not sticky at all. It was also lasted pretty long because of the thicker formula. I absolutely loved the color! I have a more red hued lip and it looked natural with a great pink, gold glow.

I give this gloss a solid A! I was going to give you a photo, but I can’t find my gloss….maybe tomorrow.

Sadly, I have one thing to admit. I already missed a night flossing but I’m back on the bandwagon today!

Cheers to 2013!

Cheers to 2013!

It’s a new year and the new year always prompts change. I’m always one to make New Year’s resolutions (and rarely stick with them), but this year I wish to be happier and healthier.

The TODAY Show this morning talked about happiness and how to achieve it. The main things I really took away from the segment was to spend more time building relationships. I always strive to be a better fiance (and wife! in May), daughter, sister, friend, etc. The other thing is talk about your happiness and really enjoy the positive things in life. I am extremely blessed and I think we often skip over the little things in life.

Rather than giving something up, I plan to strive to be better and do better. Not only do I hope to improve my quality of life, but hopefully I can impact all of those I surround myself with in positive ways.

It may seem small, but it takes 28 days to make a habit. To improve myself, I starting to floss daily and make my bed. To improve myself for others, I plan to make one call a week to a friend. These are small changes, but let’s see what their impact is!
